March 27, 2006 - San Lorenzo held by late goal
Gimnasia from La Plata held San Lorenzo to a 2-2 draw in the 11th round of the Argentine Clausura tournament.
Adrian Gonzalez opened the scoring for San Lorenzo before Gimnasia battled back, with Jorge Cervera levelling the game five minutes before the break.
Four minutes after half-time, Leonardo Ulloa put San Lorenzo back in front but Gonzalo Vargas snatched an equaliser three minutes before time.
The result means San Lorenzo stay in seventh place with 16 points, five points behind leaders River Plate.
Gimnasia are a point further back with 15.
In Friday's (Saturday AEDT) other game, Instituto edged Racing 1-0 in a battle of the bottom two teams.
Gaston Caprari scored the only goal of the game to condemn Racing to their eight loss in 11 matches.
Racing are still without a win in the competition.
